The received text is 父為子隱，子為父隱，直在其中矣 — "the father conceals for the son, the son conceals for the FATHER." The transcript's second clause reads 子為子隱 ("the son conceals for the son"), which is not the text and destroys the reciprocity the passage turns on. The transcript's own English gloss immediately above it is correct, which is what makes the character error easy to skim past.

Two specific reasons it cannot be closed: capitol.hawaii.gov returns HTTP 403 to the fetch tool, so the authoritative bill-status system could not be queried directly; and Senate bill numbers are reused every biennium, so a real SB1421 on some unrelated subject very likely exists in one session or another. What is certain, and what actually protects the reader, is that promptFilled labels it fictional and the transcript's first annotation names it as a prompt fiction.
